YS Jagan’s Three-Day Pulivendula Tour Ends with Massive Public Outpouring

YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy concluded his three-day tour of Pulivendula to an overwhelming response from party cadres and the public. Throughout the visit, he held extensive praja darbars, interacted with thousands of people, reassured a demoralised cadre, and confronted the pressing issues of farmers, students, and victims of political harassment.

Tour marked by crowds, warmth and emotional connect

Everywhere YS Jagan travelled in Pulivendula, he was met with grand welcomes, packed streets, and chants of “Jai Jagan.” At the Bhakarapuram camp office, long queues formed from early morning as people waited to meet him. Workers, women, youth, the elderly, and the differently-abled thronged the venue, turning the tour into a massive show of solidarity.

YS Jagan spent hours listening to grievances, greeting every person warmly, enquiring about their wellbeing, and assuring them that YSRCP stands firmly with them. Before departing on the final day, he greeted each visitor personally, reaffirming his connection with the grassroots.

“Do not lose heart, the coming days are ours.”

In multiple interactions with party leaders and cadres from YSR district and neighbouring districts, YS Jagan offered strong reassurance. He urged them not to be discouraged by the present political challenges and emphasised that the coming days would belong to the YSRCP. He encouraged the cadre to stay motivated and work with renewed energy, affirming that their struggles and commitment will shape the political future.

Medical student’s plea highlights damage from government neglect

One of the most emotional moments came when Nagasundara Reddy and his daughter Poojitha, who scored 467 in NEET, met YS Jagan. The father expressed anguish over his daughter missing a medical seat by just a few marks—an opportunity lost because the coalition government failed to secure 50 seats each for Pulivendula and Paderu medical colleges.

YS Jagan slammed the government for crippling the medical education sector, calling the attempted privatisation of government medical colleges “a grave injustice” to aspiring rural students. He reminded that YSRCP had established 17 new government medical colleges to expand access to affordable medical education and vowed that the party would fight the coalition’s privatisation agenda.

Listening to workers & victims of harassment

YS Jagan spent significant time meeting party workers who complained of harassment and attacks by TDP leaders. He patiently heard their accounts of intimidation and assured them, “Nothing will happen to you—I am here.” Several issues were resolved on the spot, with Jagan directing officials and guiding Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy.

In Velpula of Vemula mandal, he visited YSRCP mandal observer Lingala Ramalinga Reddy, who was recently injured in an attack by TDP goons, offering solidarity and moral support.

A tour that reinforced bond and resolve

Across Pulivendula, the tour underscored one message: Jagan’s bond with his people remains unshaken. The massive gatherings, emotional interactions, and the unwavering loyalty of the cadre transformed the three-day schedule into a powerful political moment.

As he left Pulivendula after greeting every visitor who waited to see him, one sentiment echoed across the constituency: their leader had come, stood with them, listened to them, and strengthened them for the battles ahead.
