Under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s monstrous “Red Book” rule, questioning leads to anarchy reigning supreme. Those who stand against injustices are crushed under an iron foot. The government continues its atrocities against anyone opposing its failures and misdeeds. Active YSRCP members raising voices on public issues are targeted with harassment. Standing on the side of the people has become a crime in this atrocious regime.
Illegal arrest for exposing Sand Mafia – Kamireddi Satyanarayana
The illegal arrest of YSRCP State Secretary Kamireddi Satyanarayana stands as the pinnacle of the coalition government’s wickedness. He was targeted for obstructing ruling-party anarchy and the sand mafia in the Swarnamukhi River at Pellakuru mandal, Tirupati district. Under TDP constituency in-charge Nelavala Subramanyam, heavy machinery was illegally excavating and transporting sand. On March 14, Satyanarayana, former MLA Kiliveti Sanjeevayya, and local farmers halted the operations, informed police, lodged a written complaint, and handed over two Hitachi excavators, a lorry, and two tractors.
Instead of pursuing the mafia, police, backed by coalition leaders, fabricated cases against Satyanarayana, Sanjeevayya, ZPTC member Nannam Priscilla, MPP Polamreddy Shekhar Reddy, and about 20 others. Satyanarayana, Shekhar Reddy, and farmers Atla Gopalayya, former Sarpanch Kukka Srinivasaulu, Narayan Reddy, Suresh Reddy, and Surendra Reddy were arrested on Monday and remanded. To somehow arrest Sanjeevayya, DSP Chenchubabu deployed police to guard his residence and imposed Section 144 in the area, a blatant mockery of democracy.
Vendetta in Repalle over Flexi protest – Peeta Mohan Krishna
In Repalle, Bapatla district, Red Book anarchy rages on. Constituency coordinator Peeta Mohan Krishna and over 26 YSRCP leaders and workers were slapped with illegal cases under Sections 189(3), 191(2), 126(2), 324(2), 352(2) r/w 190 BNS, simply for protesting the removal of YSR Congress Party flexis and banners. Under ruling-party pressure, a legitimate demonstration was criminalized. This dictatorial attitude will not last, the people will soon teach a fitting lesson.
Barbaric attack on Peaceful Protest demanding removal of tainted BR Naidu
When YSRCP cadres peacefully protested in Tirupati in front of Grand Ridge Hotel, demanding the immediate removal of tainted TTD Chairman BR Naidu over his inappropriate behavior toward women (exposed by a viral video), they were met with savage attacks by TDP goons. Atrocity cases were then registered against the protesters. This barbaric response to a just demand is pure injustice. Even today, without shame, the tainted BR Naidu participated in the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam temple purification ritual, a tradition for the new year. For someone who has earned a stained reputation through unworthy acts, joining Lord Sri’s service is utterly unethical and unforgivable.
Intimidation of Journalist K. Venkatarami Reddy (KVR TV)
Red Book anarchy has now spread to journalists. For the sin of questioning, grudges are held, illegal cases fabricated, and they are dragged through stations and courts. Telangana journalist K. Venkatarami Reddy (KVR TV) was illegally booked in Kurnool over a social media post, summoned on the pretext of a notice, arrested, and detained without court production within 24 hours, forcing a High Court Habeas Corpus petition. YSRCP’s Kurnool district president S.V. Mohan Reddy immediately sent party leaders and legal cell members to the 4th Town Police Station to stand by him, providing full legal support until bail was secured. This incident is a glaring example of how media freedom is being crushed. KVR recently received relief from the High Court itself.
Chandrababu’s government is behaving demonically, harassing every section of society, taking the law into its own hands, indulging in atrocities, and growing increasingly arrogant under Red Book rule. If these misdeeds do not stop, inevitable punishment awaits in the court of the people. YSRCP warns: the days are near when Andhra Pradesh will deliver a strong lesson to this regime.
