Animated? Antagonist? Hero? Allu Arjun’s Triple Mystery Begins

After conquering the box office with Pushpa 2: The Rule, Icon Star Allu Arjun is all set to soar higher—this time, donning the cape of a superhero. The actor is teaming up with blockbuster director Atlee for a mega-budget pan-India project, currently operating under the working title ‘AA22xA6’. The announcement has sent waves of excitement through the industry and fandom alike, with expectations sky-high for this unprecedented cinematic collaboration.

What’s adding fuel to the fire is the buzz around Allu Arjun playing a never-before-seen triple role—as a hero, a villain, and, in a bold cinematic experiment, a fully animated character. If confirmed, this would mark the most ambitious and experimental project in Allu Arjun’s career. The actor is already deep into intense physical and mental preparation, training under renowned celebrity fitness expert Lloyd Stevens to embody the demanding roles.

For the female lead, the makers are reportedly in talks with top Bollywood actresses including Janhvi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Mrunal Thakur. The casting decision is expected to be finalized soon, adding even more star power to this already dazzling lineup.

The film is being produced by Sun Pictures on a staggering ₹800 crore budget, making it the second most expensive film in Indian cinema history. Out of this, ₹250 crore is being allocated solely for VFX and CGI, with Ironhead Studio and Hollywood visual genius James Madigan contributing to its international-scale production design.

Reports suggest Allu Arjun will receive ₹175 crore, along with a 15% share of the profits, while director Atlee is set to draw a ₹100 crore fee, highlighting the sheer scale and ambition behind this film.

Shooting is expected to begin in December 2025, with a grand Sankranti 2027 release being planned. Marketed as a pan-India visual spectacle, the film promises a blend of cutting-edge visuals and deep-rooted Indian emotions.
