Loot, Share, Eat: Manifesto in dustbin, State in ruins

YSR Congress Party president and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a blistering attack on the Chandrababu Naidu government, declaring that two years of TDP rule have reduced the state to an “anarchy of loot”. Flanked by Tadepalligudem constituency coordinator Vaddi Raghuram and local body leaders, YS Jagan held an intense discussion on the latest political developments and burning constituency issues. The YSRCP chief warned that the people had already begun the “real audit” of the government in every household.

 “Two-years, Three Budgets, Zero Guarantees”

YS Jagan declared that two full years have passed since Chandrababu came to power and three budgets have already been presented. “Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan signed bonds promising to implement their guarantees. Yet the Super Six and Super Seven have turned out to be outright scams,” he said.

He reminded the cadre that for YSRCP, the manifesto is a sacred document. “But Chandrababu’s manifesto has gone straight into the dustbin. He had boasted that whatever YS Jagan gives, he will give , and even more. But he hasn’t even served biryani; the little pulao that existed has also vanished. Every household is now discussing this failure.”

All Welfare Schemes Cancelled, Rural Economy Shattered

Listing the devastation across sectors, YS Jagan said every single YSRCP scheme has been scrapped. “The rural economy lies in ruins. In education, healthcare, agriculture, governance, law and order, welfare and development , there is only destruction and regression visible everywhere.”

“In our five-year rule, YSRCP took loans of Rs. 3.31 lakh crore, but we transferred Rs. 2.73 lakh crore directly to people’s accounts through DBT. In just two years, Chandrababu has piled up gross and committed debts of Rs. 3.52 lakh crore. Where is all this money going? Whose pockets is it filling?”

 “Loot, Share, Eat”

YS Jagan criticised the government for running a “loot, share, eat” administration. “All natural resources, liquor mafia, sand, soil, silica, quartz, laterite, granite, are being openly plundered. PPAs are signed at exorbitant rates. Government lands are being handed over for peanuts. I don’t know if you get a chocolate for a rupee, but in Andhra Pradesh they are giving away land for one rupee,” he thundered. He stated that Chandrababu is gifting Rs. 5,000 crore worth of prime land at Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam to his own relative. “Even to sell chicken, bribes are demanded. In the name of Amaravati, massive looting is taking place,” he charged.

 Amaravati Land Scam

YS Jagan exposed the biggest scam in the name of the capital. “In Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru, even prime land with five-star facilities does not cross Rs. 4,500 per square foot. But in Amaravati they are selling it at Rs. 14,000 per square foot. Works are being awarded to relatives of Kiran and to Chandrababu’s benami BSR. Thousands of crores are being paid as mobilisation advances.” He asked, “When such large-scale looting is going on, how will any revenue come to the state? What is the condition of the middle class and the poor?”

Farmers, Students, Patients, all betrayed

On agriculture, YS Jagan said farmers are not getting Minimum Support Price for any crop, nor input subsidies. “Some farmers told me in my meetings that they have received nothing for two years. We used to give crop insurance for just one rupee , now they are not even getting that one rupee.”

Education has collapsed, he said. “Fee reimbursement and Vasati Deevena are not being paid. This year alone they have to pay Rs. 10,000 crore, but the budget has allocated only Rs. 2,600 crore. Children are dropping out. Nadu-Nedu has stopped. The Goru Mudda (midday meal) scheme has disappeared.”

In healthcare, he said Arogya Sri cover was raised to Rs. 25 lakh and Arogya Aasara gave Rs. 5,000 per month under YSRCP. “Now network hospitals are forced to go on strike. Medical colleges are being sold. The Rayalaseema Lift project has been stopped. Even zero-interest loans to women’s self-help groups (Podhu Sanghalu) have been halted.”

Women have No honour left in this government

YS Jagan turned sharply on the government’s attitude towards women. “This government has zero respect for women,” he said, citing the obscene remarks by Andhra Jyothi’s Radha Krishna against YSRCP leaders’ wives. “Will Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan not condemn it? Instead they support it.”

He listed shocking incidents: a woman beaten in front of police while an MLA (Arava Sridhar) questioned injustices; TTD Chairman playing with a woman’s life yet protected by Chandrababu; no action against MLA Kuna Ravi Kumar for harassing a KGBV principal; no action against Guntur East MLA Naseer Ahmed for obscene video calls with women; no action against MLA Koneti Adimulam for horrific sexual assault; and Minister Sandhya Rani’s PA also escaping action while cases are filed against victims.

Capital Conspiracy: Why Chandrababu rejects practical solutions

YS Jagan said half of Chandrababu’s five-year term is already over. “Next year I will undertake a Pada Yatra and connect directly with the people. After it begins, our cadres will show Chandrababu a new ‘movie’ every single day.”

On the capital issue, he reminded the cadre how YSRCP offered practical solutions: Visakhapatnam as Plan-A capital, Kurnool as judicial capital, Amaravati as legislative capital, and Plan-B with the MAVIGUN growth corridor linking Machilipatnam-Vijayawada-Guntur. “We even started at the Machilipatnam port. We told them to build the same buildings planned for Amaravati right here. Instead of spending Rs. 2 lakh crore on Amaravati for roads, power, water and drainage, just 10% of that would have given a magnificent capital and a growth engine. But Chandrababu refuses.” “Why does he insist on Amaravati when MAVIGUN offers far more facilities and benefits?” YS Jagan asked. “Because Amaravati is the biggest mine for his corruption. Contracts will flow, commissions will flow endlessly, that is his only plan.”

“We Stand with People”

YS Jagan said YSRCP cadres are fighting fiercely on behalf of the people. “I am proud that we are standing with the people. Anarchy has taken over the state. The government is not fulfilling even a single responsibility it owes to the people.”
