In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has extended financial and emotional support to the family of Agniveer Murali Naik, who was martyred during firing under ‘Operation Sindoor’ at the country’s border. The young soldier’s sacrifice has been acknowledged and honored by the party, led by its chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Recognizing Murali Naik’s ultimate sacrifice for the nation, Y.S. Jagan personally visited the martyr’s family on May 13 to offer condolences. He praised the bravery and service of Murali Naik and assured the family that the country would never forget his valiant efforts. During his visit, Jagan announced a financial aid of Rs. 25 lakh to support the bereaved family.
Keeping his promise, the YSRCP ensured the aid reached the family within three days. On Friday, Usha Sricharan, the party’s Sri Sathya Sai district president and former minister, visited Kalli Tanda, the native village of Murali Naik, and handed over the cheque of Rs. 25 lakh to his family.
The timely gesture by the YSRCP highlights the party’s commitment to standing by the families of those who lay down their lives for the nation. The support extended serves as a mark of respect and a token of gratitude to the selfless service rendered by Agniveer Murali Naik.
