Pan-India star Prabhas is all set to don the khaki for his upcoming film Spirit, and the excitement surrounding the project just got a notch higher! Directed by the critically acclaimed Animal and Arjun Reddy filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit has already created a storm among fans—and now, fresh buzz from industry insiders suggests that Malayalam star Unni Mukundan might be roped in for a pivotal role.
Unni, who recently tasted success with Marco, has reportedly been approached by the makers for a key character in the film. While there’s no official confirmation yet from the production team, the talk of this powerful addition to the cast is already doing the rounds in cine circles.
As of now, what has been confirmed and widely celebrated is that Prabhas will be playing a fierce and intense police officer in the film—a role that promises high-octane action and raw emotional depth, especially under Vanga’s signature storytelling style. The film is expected to explore themes of justice, power, and inner conflict, with Prabhas bringing both brawn and soul to the character.
The shooting of Spirit is likely to kick off in October 2025, and the pre-production is reportedly in full swing. The film will be produced by T-Series in association with Bhadrakali Pictures and is expected to be mounted on a massive budget, making it one of the most anticipated films in Prabhas’s career post Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD.
Interestingly, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had earlier stated that Spirit would be “more intense than Animal,” hinting at emotionally heavy content and larger-than-life action sequences. With the director’s unique style and Prabhas’s towering screen presence, fans are already dubbing this as a dream combination.
