“Hats off to your commitment, I will forever be indebted to you,” said YSRCP Chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, reaffirming the party’s commitment to value-based politics. Addressing the newly elected local body representatives at the party headquarters in Tadepalli, YS Jagan declared the YSRCP’s landslide victory in the recent bypolls as a “slap on the face of TDP,” which tried to usurp power despite lacking the required numbers.
“The Party is proud of you for bravely standing against the deceptive politics of Chandrababu Naidu, who attempted to win seats without having the numbers. He relied on coercion, force, manipulative practices, and the misuse of official machinery to grab a few seats. But despite all these unethical attempts, we have won 39 of the 50 contested seats, proving our strong resolve and the people’s faith in us” – YS Jagan.
TDP’s Political aggression and irregularities
YS Jagan pointed out the irregularities in various local body elections orchestrated by TDP. “In Tirupati municipal elections, we saw rampant malpractices. In Visakhapatnam, our cadre stood firm and protected our corporator despite police intimidation. They went to the extent of threatening our corporator’s wife. In Ramagiri, where YSRCP has nine out of ten MPTCs, elections were deliberately obstructed. The police were misused, MPTCs were kidnapped, false cases were booked, and even a BC leader, Lingamaiah, was murdered by TDP-backed goons,” he stated.
Highlighting the depth of TDP’s aggression , YS Jagan said, “Even in Chandrababu Naidu’s own constituency, we swept all 16 MPTC seats. Despite TDP’s attempts to lure nine of our representatives, our cadre remained strong. They restricted the movement of our leaders and unlawfully declared themselves winners. If a State government resorts to such aggression, what kind of governance can we expect?”
YSRCP’s strength and future
YS Jagan lauded the role of women in these elections. “In these elections, my sisters and our women leaders stood firm. I am proud of them. The commitment of our cadre in difficult times will be remembered for a long time. In the coming days, we will secure a landslide victory, and the Party will stand firmly by its cadre. Jagan 2.0 will be very different – this time, I will stand even stronger with you all,” he declared.
The P-4 Scam: Naidu’s new deception
YS Jagan also exposed Chandrababu Naidu’s latest fraudulent scheme, P-4, calling it an “unreasonable outsourcing of responsibilities.” He pointed out Naidu’s flawed logic in welfare distribution. “Naidu may not even be aware of the number of white ration cards in the state. To clarify for him – out of 1.61 crore families, 1.48 crore hold white ration cards as they are below the poverty line (BPL). The state has 8.6 lakh Income Tax assessees. According to Naidu’s absurd P-4 theory, these 8.6 lakh people should take care of the 1.48 crore BPL families. This is the height of Naidu’s deception!”
A Leadership People Can Trust
YS Jagan declared that people are growing increasingly frustrated with Naidu’s governance. “People are evading Chandrababu Naidu because of his false promises and deceitful politics. They are now waiting for a leader who stands by his word and a governance that genuinely takes care of them.”
