Why did the yellow ecosystem rush to declare Satish Kumar’s death a murder even before a post-mortem report or a single official fact was known?
This is the question now gripping Andhra Pradesh, as a coordinated wave of allegations, media overdrive, and political statements appears to have been launched with one objective, to bury the truth behind the Parakamani case and weaponise Satish Kumar’s death for political gain. YSRCP alleges that the ruling coalition is suppressing key facts related to the SIT’s treatment of Satish and is manufacturing a narrative to target opposition leaders.
False propaganda
Immediately after news of Satish’s death broke, yellow media outlets and TDP spokespersons aggressively branded it a murder without any factual basis. Before the post-mortem report or any official police information was available, a ready-made narrative was pushed across channels and social media, raising serious doubts about the motives behind this rush to judgement.
Premature allegations
Throughout the afternoon and evening, channels such as ETV, ABN, and TV5 ran nonstop scrolls, debates, and breaking news framing the incident as murder. TDP leaders including Pattabhiram, MS Raju, Vijay Kumar, and Panchumarthi Anuradha issued statements in quick succession. BJP and Jana Sena leaders added to the storyline, linking Satish’s death to past political murder cases and creating suspicion around YSRCP leaders without presenting evidence.
YSRCP’s suspicion
YSRCP alleges that Satish was placed under intense pressure by SIT officials, who purportedly forced him to name YSRCP leaders such as Bhuma Karunakar Reddy in the Parakamani case. According to the party, threatening him with imprisonment and coercing dictated statements may have driven him to take his own life. The party believes government leaders, unable to counter these accusations, turned instead to a false narrative to deflect responsibility.
Illegal arrest
YSRCP claims the arrest of spokesperson Karumuru Venkat Reddy was retaliation for questioning the coordinated propaganda. The party argues that the ruling coalition is portraying its own fabricated storyline as if an organised crime had occurred, all while silencing opposition voices who challenge the narrative.
Coordinated Yellow campaign
The sequence of events on the day of the incident reflects a highly synchronised media and political operation. From afternoon breaking news to evening debates and late-night claims of a “preliminary murder confirmation,” every platform repeated the same storyline. Interviews with relatives, political statements, panel discussions, and newspaper reports all followed an identical pattern, indicating a deliberate strategy to influence public perception even before facts were established.
Unanswered questions
YSRCP has raised several critical questions that directly contradict the murder narrative. Railway records confirm Satish boarded the Rayalaseema Express in an AC coach with 54 passengers. If a murder occurred, why did no one notice? Why was no incident reported at Guntakal, Gutti, or Tadipatri stations? Where is the blood evidence? Why were family members and the media denied access to the body and residence for hours? These inconsistencies cast serious doubt on the claims being circulated by the yellow ecosystem.
Political conspiracy
Satish earlier handled the Parakamani dollar-theft case involving Ravikumar, which was resolved through Lok Adalat. YSRCP argues that the yellow ecosystem twisted this legal settlement to fabricate stories of illegal asset transfers despite producing no documentary proof. The party asserts that if such transfers had taken place, the TDP government, which controls all administrative machinery, should have been able to produce clear records.
SIT’s role
According to YSRCP, the SIT is being used as a political instrument rather than a fact-finding body. With no substantial evidence to support their narrative, SIT officials allegedly attempted to secure forced statements under Sections 161 and 164. Satish was reportedly threatened, intimidated by a rowdy-sheeter, and pressured to support the dictated version. These allegations raise troubling questions about the integrity of the investigation.
Suspicious chain of events
Satish was interrogated by SIT on November 6 and summoned again for November 14 with strict instructions to comply with their version. His sudden death in between, followed by the yellow ecosystem’s instant push of a murder narrative, has heightened public suspicion. YSRCP says people are closely observing these developments and demand a fully impartial probe into the matter.
A Narrative built
Satish Kumar’s death has been engulfed in a politically charged misinformation storm, where propaganda replaced investigation, and conclusions preceded evidence. YSRCP maintains that the yellow ecosystem launched a coordinated campaign to divert attention from alleged SIT intimidation and to falsely implicate opposition leaders. With so many unanswered questions and procedural irregularities, the party insists that only a fair, transparent, and impartial investigation can uncover the truth and restore public confidence.
