Pawan Kalyan Lauds MGNREGA, Calls It a “Great Scheme” During May Day Event Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan marked May Day by attending celebrations at CK Convention in Mangalagiri, where he interacted with MGNREGA workers. In a candid moment, he praised the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), calling it a “great scheme” that has empowered rural laborers across the country. The MGNREGA scheme was launched in 2006 by the Congress-led UPA government under Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, with the pilot project inaugurated in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. As of 2024-25, over 13 crore active workers are enrolled under the scheme nationwide.Pawan’s acknowledgment of a flagship Congress scheme, while being part of the BJP-led NDA,has raised eyebrows within political circles.

Tirupati’sBhumanaAbhinay Reddy Exposes Coalition Government’s False Promises Through Innovative Public Outreach In a powerful and innovative move to expose the failures of the current coalition government, Tirupati Assembly YSRCP in-charge BhumanaAbhinay Reddy has taken a direct route to reach the public. Launching a new digital initiative titled “ChandrababuGharanaMosam,” Abhinay Reddy has been visiting households across Tirupati, engaging directly with citizens to demonstrate how the promises made before the elections have largely remained unfulfilled. The "ChandrababuGharanaMosam” website is designed to reveal the stark reality behind the so-called “Super Six” promises that the coalition government, led by TDP, championed during their campaign. By simply entering the house owner’s name, the website shows which promises were fulfilled, which were ignored, and the financial dues pending for each family. This transparent tool has quickly become a symbol of the growing public frustration against the present administration. Carrying a mobile device loaded with the application, Abhinay Reddy personally interacted with residents, patiently spending half an hour at each house. He encouraged the families to tick off the promises they had received benefits from. Through this direct engagement, the people were made to realize the extent to which they were deceived. Several citizens openly voiced their disappointment and anger at how they were misled by false hopes. However, what truly stood out during these interactions was the comparison between the YSRCP rule and the current government’s performance. In his visits to three houses this morning, Abhinay Reddy uncovered a startling truth — only one household had received a benefit during the past 10 months under the new government, and that too just a single Deepam gas cylinder. In contrast, during the YSRCP rule, one of the families had benefitted by a substantial amount of ₹7,24,000, through various welfare schemes and developmental initiatives. Quoting this striking example, BhumanaAbhinay Reddy asserted, “The TDP and their coalition partners made false promises purely for the sake of grabbing power. In contrast, during the YSRCP tenure, we didn't just make promises; we fulfilled them with utmost sincerity and priority.”
