The two-day Collectors’ Conference at Amaravati Secretariat has laid bare the grim reality of governance under Chandrababu Naidu’s coalition regime. Shockingly, the Chief Minister himself expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of four key departments—Home, Revenue, Municipal, and Prisons—signaling the complete breakdown of administration.
Law and Order in Shambles
In just 15 months, Andhra Pradesh has been reduced to “Crime Andhra Pradesh.” Government statistics reveal:
● Overall crimes up by 16% compared to last year.
● Drug trafficking cases up by 22%.
● Crimes against women up by 4%.
● Cybercrimes up by 16%.
Dozens of YSRCP leaders and workers have been murdered, thousands attacked, while the police not only failed to protect victims but even filed false cases against them. Chandrababu’s tall claims of “safety for women” and Pawan Kalyan’s empty threats to “thrash criminals” have turned into cruel jokes.
Liquor Mafia Looting State Revenue
Liquor is flowing unchecked across the state, yet government revenue has risen by just 10.29%. Under YSRCP, a transparent system yielded over Rs. 29,000 crore annually. Today, liquor shops and bars have been handed over to TDP–Jana Sena syndicates.
● Rs. 10 openly collected per bottle.
● Rs. 30–40 is illegally charged per bottle.
● Cheap brands introduced, including the infamous Rs. 99 “Cheap Liquor Bottle.”
● With liquor being sold round-the-clock, where is the missing revenue going? The widespread belief is that weekly kickbacks are reaching coalition bosses.
Farmers Pushed to the Brink
Farmers are receiving no fair prices for their crops. Even fertilizers, urea, and seeds are not being supplied on time. Suicides are on the rise, while the CM dismisses criticism as “foreign propaganda.” Social media is flooded with evidence of government failures, which cannot be brushed aside.
Health Sector in Collapse
The health system has virtually collapsed. Recent tragedies—mysterious deaths in Turkapalem, a diarrhea outbreak in Vijayawada (hundreds hospitalized, four dead)—have exposed the crisis. People are suffering from fevers, typhoid, and malaria without adequate care.
● Expired medicines being distributed in government hospitals.
● Aarogyasri reduced to irrelevance, leaving the poor without treatment.
Yet health officials shamelessly claim there is “no negligence.”
Land Titling Act: Propaganda Then, Continuation Now
Before elections, the coalition spread lies that the Land Titling Act would rob farmers of their rights. But now, Chandrababu has directed completion of the land resurvey by 2027, continuing the very program he opposed. Their propaganda stands exposed as a web of lies.
Ministers Missing in Action
The Collectors’ Conference highlighted shocking negligence from key leaders:
● Nara Lokesh, the minister for all departments, skipped the event entirely.
● Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan made only a brief guest appearance before vanishing.
While people suffer, Lokesh is busy with foreign tours for self-promotion, and Pawan prioritizes film shootings over governance.
Chandrababu’s “Donations Rule” Continues
Chandrababu came to power promising wealth creation, but continues his age-old “donations culture.”
● Earlier: Donations to run TDP and build Amaravati.
● Now: Proposing donations to repair government schools!
Even during the Vijayawada floods, his government collected donations but failed to deliver relief. The CM has once again proved he survives only on begging, not on governance.
Bureaucrats Lament: “Saar Hasn’t Changed”
Despite Yellow Media’s claims that “Chandrababu has changed,” officials privately admit nothing is different. His endless lectures turned the two-day review into a torture session—running from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Bureaucrats sarcastically remarked: “Saar hasn’t changed, and the nagging hasn’t stopped.”
Conclusion
The Collectors’ Conference, meant to showcase governance, instead exposed a state in disarray, a leadership in denial, and a regime drowning in corruption and inefficiency. Law and order, revenue, agriculture, health, and administration—all stand ruined under Chandrababu’s so-called coalition governance.
