In a sharp retaliation to Pakistan’s failed missile attack on Indian Army camps last night, India launched a series of precision strikes under Operation Sindhoor, targeting key Pakistani military installations and assets.
Indian drones struck the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi, as well as other critical sites in Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, destroying air defense systems including the Chinese-made HQ-9. India also used its S-400 air defense system to neutralize Pakistani missiles during the initial attack.
Indian forces reportedly destroyed assets worth ₹1600 crore, including military stockpiles. The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was also targeted in the drone strikes. Along the LoC, Indian troops continue to pound Pakistani posts with mortars and artillery.
In light of the escalating situation, the U.S. has advised embassy staff in Lahore to move to safer locations.
India’s response signals a clear warning: any aggression will be met with swift and strong retaliation.
