From Strategy to Strike: Army Officers Decode Operation Sindhoor

In a bold and calculated response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindhoor, a 25-minute surgical airstrike targeting Pakistan-based terror camps. This meticulously planned mission has not only dealt a heavy blow to terror infrastructure but also ignited a wave of unprecedented patriotism and national unity across India.

Precision Strike, Strategic Message:

According to a joint press briefing by Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Operation Sindhoor was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday between 1:05 AM and 1:30 AM, involving all three branches of the Indian military. The forces struck nine terror camps deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), successfully neutralizing over 100 terrorists.

The first strike was launched on a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) camp in Muzaffarabad, approximately 30 km from the Line of Control. Additional strikes were executed on LeT training sites in Bimbal and Surjal—the latter known as the training ground for AjmalKasab, one of the 26/11 Mumbai attackers. A fourth target, Murkiday Camp, was also destroyed—linked historically to deadly terror plots on Indian soil.

“We identified 21 terror camps in total, and ensured that no harm came to Pakistani civilians,” said Colonel Qureshi. “This was a focused operation strictly aimed at terror infrastructure, not military installations.”

Justice for Pahalgam, Message to the World:

Foreign Secretary VikramMisri emphasized that Operation Sindhoor was executed as a measured yet powerful response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 Indian tourists. Misri confirmed that the attack was orchestrated by The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, and backed by Pakistani elements. “Pakistan has sheltered, trained, and supported terrorists for over 30 years. This operation sends a clear message—India will defend its citizens at all costs,” he said.
