 Statewide Protests:

The YSRCP Women’s Wing launched statewide protests under the slogan “Save Women  Save Andhra” to condemn the rising atrocities against women and children since the coalition government assumed power.   In Vijayawada, the YSRCP Women’s Wing held a protest at an Ambedkar statue, led by State President Varudu Kalyani. Participants included City Mayor Bhagyalakshmi, Deputy Mayors, Corporators, and activists, who condemned the surge in atrocities against women.

 Krishna District:

  In Machilipatnam, YSRCP women leaders protested with “Save Women  Save Andhra” slogans, submitting a memorandum at an Ambedkar statue. Former Mayor Moka Venkateswaramma criticized the coalition, stating that attacks on women, the elderly, and girls have surged. She accused the TDP of fostering a culture of impunity, warning that their actions would lead to their downfall. She also criticized Home Minister Anitha for acting as a TDP worker rather than ensuring justice for women.

Former MLA Kona Raghupathi and District President Merugu Nagarjuna participated, chanting “Save Women  Save Andhra.”

They condemned atrocities against women and children, raising slogans against the state government and Home Minister Anitha. Leaders criticized Anitha for failing to deliver justice despite being a woman, accusing her of focusing on defaming Jagan to curry favor with Chandrababu. They questioned Pawan Kalyan’s silence on the 32,000 missing women and demanded Anitha’s resignation.

  In Palakollu, YSRCP women leaders, under Mudunuri Murali Krishnam Raju’s supervision, protested against rapes, atrocities, and false cases. Participants, including General Secretary Karra Jaya Saritha and State Vice President Uma Bala, performed a milk offering at an Ambedkar statue and submitted a memorandum.

 Chittoor District:

  Following Jagan’s call, YSRCP women, under Constituency InCharge MC Vijayananda Reddy’s guidance, protested the coalition’s antipeople policies. Led by Constituency Women’s President Anjali Reddy, they submitted a memorandum at an Ambedkar statue, condemning atrocities against women and children. Leaders like Gayatri Devi and Leeni Reddy participated.

 Nellore District:

  YSRCP organized a massive protest led by ZP Chairperson Anam Arunamma, condemning the coalition’s failure to curb atrocities, rapes, and murders in its oneyear rule. Participants garlanded an Ambedkar statue at VRC Center and submitted a memorandum. Arunamma criticized the daily violence against women, accusing the TDP of fostering anarchy and neglecting rural safety.

  YSRCP women held a symbolic silent protest at an Ambedkar statue, holding placards to condemn ongoing attacks, rapes, and atrocities. District President Dharmana Krishnadas criticized the government’s failure to control the police system and ensure justice for victims, emphasizing the protest’s aim to highlight women’s anguish.

  Led by District Women’s President Gadula Satyalatha, YSRCP women, including Corporators and Sarpanches, held a peaceful dharna at an Ambedkar statue and submitted a memorandum, protesting rampant atrocities and attacks on women.

 Parvathipuram Manyam District:

  YSRCP women organized a rally to Ambedkar Circle, condemning the coalition’s failure to curb atrocities, rapes, and murders in its oneyear rule. District Women’s President Reddy Padmavathi and other leaders participated, submitting a memorandum.

She reported 188 rapes, including 15 rapemurders and 9 suspicious deaths, in the past year. Sridevamma accused the TDP of covering up its failures with diversionary tactics, demanding action to restore women’s safety. District Women’s President Aluru Shashikala and others participated.
