In a fiery address at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, party chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy issued a stern warning to officials and political opponents allegedly targeting YSRCP leaders and workers with false cases and political vendetta. Speaking at a meeting with public representatives from various local bodies, Jagan made it clear that under “Jagan 2.0,” the top priority will be the party’s grassroots workers.

Addressing the gathering, which included municipal chairpersons, vice MPPs, councillors, and MPTC members from districts such as Annamayya, Chittoor, Sri Sathya Sai, and Sri PottiSriramulu Nellore, Jagan expressed confidence that the YSRCP would return to power in the next elections. “If we stand strong and fight with determination for the next three years, the government will once again be ours,” he said.

Jagan accused the current ruling coalition, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, of failing to honour election promises and indulging in widespread oppression. He criticized the government for allegedly misusing power to file false cases, intimidate YSRCP workers, and suppress dissent. “What we are witnessing today is political tyranny unlike anything seen in the state’s history,” he said.

The YSRCP chief assured his cadre that their suffering would not be in vain. “I’m watching everything closely. The harassment our workers are enduring simply because they support the YSRCP and me will not be forgotten. In Jagan 2.0, justice will begin with our workers,” he promised.

Jagan also issued a strong caution to the police and officials allegedly involved in politically motivated actions. “Write down the names of those officers harassing you with false cases. Once we return to power, we will not spare anyone. Whether they’re in service, retired, or even overseas—we will bring them to justice. They will face consequences. What we show them won’t be an ordinary film; it will be a next-level movie,” he warned.
