In an important move aimed at easing the darshan process for common devotees, the Tirumala TirupatiDevasthanams (TTD) has announced that it will not accept any recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan or other sevadarshans during the peak summer season.
The decision was officially conveyed by MLA and TTD Board Member Jyothula Nehru. Every year, Tirumala experiences a significant surge in pilgrim footfall during the months of May and June, coinciding with summer vacations across the country. To manage the heavy influx and provide smoother access to darshan for the general public, the TTD has decided to suspend the acceptance of recommendation letters from May 1st to June 30th.
However, it was clarified that VIPs who personally visit Tirumala during this period will still be granted VIP darshan privileges, based on their presence rather than recommendation letters.
TTD officials have urged all devotees to plan their visits accordingly and cooperate with the new guidelines to ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling darshan experience for everyone.
