TDP’s Fake Liquor Conspiracy exposed

TDP’s Fake Liquor Conspiracy exposed

Naidu launches diversion to shield his Mafia

The ongoing fake liquor scandal in Andhra Pradesh has now turned into a full-scale political cover-up, with the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government desperately trying to divert the investigation and protect its own leaders. Instead of cracking down on the mafia responsible for producing toxic liquor that is jeopardizing public health, the TDP regime has started a smear campaign against the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and is attempting to drag unrelated leaders like former Minister Jogi Ramesh into the controversy purely out of political vengeance.

Massive Fake Liquor operation busted – State in Shock

On October 3rd, the Excise Department conducted a major raid at Mulakalacheruvu in Annamayya district, uncovering what appears to be one of the biggest fake liquor rackets in the history of the state. The officials seized:

  • Thousands of liters of spurious liquor
  • Fake liquor bottles and caps

  • Large-scale illegal bottling machinery

A diary seized during this raid led investigators to Ibrahimpatnam in NTR district, where they located a bar and a fake liquor manufacturing unit linked to prime accused Addepalli Janardhan Rao (A1). The massive scale of this illegal operation sent shockwaves across Andhra Pradesh.

A scam running for months – Under political protection

According to Excise officials, this was not a small or recent activity. Excise Assistant Commissioner Chandrashekar Reddy confirmed that the illegal plant had been running for two months, while Excise Deputy Commissioner stated it had been operational for nearly three months. These statements prove that the fake liquor mafia flourished openly under political shelter after the TDP-led coalition came to power.

TDP leaders directly named – forced damage control begins

As details emerged, the names of key TDP leaders surfaced in the case:

  • Jayachandra Reddy – TDP in-charge of Tamballapalle

  • Surendra Naidu

  • Addepalli Janardhan Rao (A1)

The FIR and remand report clearly mention that Ashraf, the driver of Jayachandra Reddy, confessed to transporting fake liquor in a black Scorpio vehicle belonging to Jayachandra Reddy. With evidence piling up, the TDP was forced to suspend Jayachandra Reddy and Surendra Naidu, not out of ethics, but because they were cornered by proof.

Hypocrisy exposed: TDP claims moral high ground while running mafia

Following the suspensions, the TDP pretended to act responsibly, claiming credit for taking action against its own leaders. However:

  • For two full days (October 4 & 5), TDP mouthpiece Eenadu did not publish a single article on the fake liquor scandal.

  • Nara Lokesh and Varla Ramaiah publicly admitted that their party leaders were involved in wrongdoing and were suspended—an attempt to control the narrative and limit the damage.

TDP Twitter slip-up raises more questions

The official TDP Twitter handle initially posted that Jayachandra Reddy is Accused No. 1 (A1). But soon after, the post was edited to remove the “A1” tag. The handle even tweeted “Stage set for Jayachandra Reddy’s arrest”, yet: He has not been arrested till today. Why? Who is protecting him? What deal was made?

Naidu launches diversion politics instead of statewide raids

If Chandrababu Naidu truly wanted justice, he would have:
 ✔ Ordered statewide liquor raids
 ✔ Seized illegal units
 ✔ Arrested all the accused
✔ Deployed a neutral investigation team

Instead, he did nothing to clean up the liquor mafia. No raids were conducted on wine shops or belt shops after the exposure. Instead of uprooting the mafia, Chandrababu started blaming YSRCP to divert attention and save his own criminal network.

Panic in TDP after demand for CBI probe

When YSRCP MP Midhun Reddy wrote to the Union Home Ministry demanding a CBI investigation into the fake liquor scam, panic struck the TDP camp. In a hastily called press conference on the 12th, Chandrababu claimed the scam was a diversion drama and refused to answer direct questions from the media, clearly indicating fear of exposure

Media manipulation and fraudulent narratives

To escape public outrage, TDP used police and planted media stories to target YSRCP leaders. Yellow media outlets and TDP social media cells began manufacturing lies, accusing YSRCP leaders of involvement, despite zero evidence. A careful review of TDP media responses from October 3rd onwards reveals a coordinated propaganda strategy.

Scripted videos by A1 Janardhan Rao – proof of political blackmail

Prime accused Janardhan Rao released a video from Africa after the scam broke. Importantly:

  • He did not mention Jogi Ramesh even once in his first video.

  • Eenadu did not react initially, avoiding coverage.

  • But on the 9th, Eenadu suddenly published a piece blaming “Reddys running African liquor mafia linked to YS Jagan’s relatives”, a desperate caste-based propaganda stunt to protect Chandrababu Naidu.

Fake covert drama: TDP claims Jayachandra Reddy is YSRCP agent

Suddenly, TDP loyal media began claiming that Jayachandra Reddy is a YSRCP covert (mole). This is a ridiculous lie because:

  • Excise officials confirmed the fake unit was running only for 2–3 months.

  • Then how can TDP now claim it started when Jogi Ramesh was minister years ago?

  • Who scripted Janardhan Rao’s second video blaming YSRCP?

  • Was he coached and blackmailed by TDP leaders?
