NRI and Jana Sena member Rajendra Prasad from Tirupati has raised serious concerns about the safety of NRI and senior citizens’ properties in Andhra Pradesh. In a viral video, he revealed how his land in Tiruchanoor was illegally occupied by land grabbers with alleged police support.
Rajendra Prasad claims that his legally owned land was taken over by goons, while the police ignored his complaints. He alleges that Circle Inspector (CI) Sunil Kumar oversaw the demolition of structures built on his land and that repeated appeals to higher officials, including the SP, were ineffective.
He describes the law enforcement system as broken, stating that even filing an FIR was difficult. Only after pressure from the NRI Jana Sena team in Australia was a weak FIR registered, highlighting the inefficiency of the police in protecting property rights.
Rajendra Prasad alleges that a man named Raja, backed by powerful figures, threatened his father with a group of people. He also claims that middlemen, supposedly linked to the police, demanded one crore rupees to settle the issue, showing how corruption influences justice.
He questions how the Andhra Pradesh government expects NRIs to invest when their properties are unsafe. He warns that the state is becoming like Bihar in terms of land mafia activities, leading to a loss of trust in law enforcement.
Rajendra Prasad urges the government to act against corrupt officials and land grabbers. He warns that unless strong measures are taken, Andhra Pradesh risks losing investment and the support of its NRI community.
His fight goes beyond personal loss—it highlights a bigger problem of lawlessness. Will the Andhra Pradesh government act, or will more citizens be left to fend for themselves?
