Fans of Pawan Kalyan have plenty to look forward to with the upcoming action thriller OG, and now the film’s music is giving them even more reason to get excited. Thaman, the maestro behind the soundtrack, has revealed that the background score will feature an astonishing 117 musicians, all recorded in a London studio.
Adding an unexpected touch, the traditional Japanese instrument Koto will be part of the BGM, promising a fresh, global sound that will elevate the film’s intense action sequences. Thaman himself says the music will be on a “whole new level”, blending perfectly with the film’s mix of high-octane action, emotional moments, and mass appeal.
Directed by Sujeeth, OG sees Pawan Kalyan stepping into the shoes of “Ojas Gambhir.” Priyanka Mohan plays the heroine, while Imran Hashmi essays the antagonist. Supporting roles are played by Shria Reddy, Prakash Raj, and Arjun Das, adding further weight to the ensemble. The film is currently in fast-paced post-production, with every department working to make this a visual and auditory treat.
Set to hit screens on September 25, 2025, OG is shaping up to be a cinematic event, and with Thaman’s ambitious BGM at its heart, fans can expect to be thrilled not just by the story, but by its pulse-pounding, world-class music.
