The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), led by Chandrababu Naidu, has betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh by failing to deliver on its “Super Six” promises. After coming to power, the TDP shelved these commitments, dismantling welfare schemes from the previous government. The party has backstabbed the public, leaving families struggling and celebrating amidst their suffering in the name of Mahanadu festivities.
Job losses and youth deception
The TDP has eliminated thousands of existing jobs, pushing families into distress. Institutions like AP Beverages Corporation, APMDC, AP Fiber Net, the Health Department, and APCOS have seen mass layoffs. Promises of 20 lakh jobs remain unfulfilled, with not a single government job created. The youth, promised Rs. 3,000 monthly unemployment benefits, have received nothing, exposing the TDP’s hollow assurances.
Collapse of governance and Law enforcement
The state’s administrative systems, including the Secretariat, have been rendered ineffective, and volunteers have been sidelined. Law and order have collapsed, with ganja and cocaine cases rampant across Andhra Pradesh. Despite claims of cracking down on narcotics, the TDP’s inaction has allowed these issues to spiral.
Welfare schemes scrapped
The TDP has canceled critical welfare programs like Amma Vodi, Rythu Bharosa, and Aadabidda Nidhi, which provided Rs. 1,500 monthly to women. Free bus travel and gas subsidies have been discontinued, and the Cheyutha scheme abandoned. Farmers have been cheated with the scrapping of Rythu Bharosa, offering Rs. 26,000 annually, along with crop insurance and price stabilization funds.
Mahanadu: A facade of false agendas
The TDP’s Mahanadu in Kadapa prioritizes fake agendas over public welfare and state development. The party’s agenda, filled with empty rhetoric about its founding principles and six-point plans, ignores real issues. Claims of expanding TDP to Telangana and Andaman & Nicobar, and even talk of a national president election, are dismissed as farcical by the public, who mock the party’s overreach into “space.”
Public outrage against the TDP’s deception
The people of Andhra Pradesh are seething with anger over the TDP’s betrayal. By scrapping welfare schemes, failing to deliver on promises, and celebrating amid public hardship, Chandrababu and his allies have drawn widespread criticism. The Mahanadu’s pomp and festivities stand in stark contrast to the struggles of citizens, who feel cheated and abandoned by a government prioritizing propaganda over progress.
A Party of false promises
TDP’s “Super Six” are empty slogans, with no schemes implemented. From job losses to dismantling welfare, the party has deceived every section of society. The Mahanadu agenda is a mockery, filled with hollow promises and theatrical displays, while Andhra Pradesh grapples with unemployment, lawlessness, and broken dreams.
