The outcome of North Andhra Teachers MLC election was a big set back to NDA Alliance in Andhra Pradesh. PRTU candidate Gade Srinivasulu Naidu emerged victorious over NDA backed up candidate Raghu Varma. Gade won the seat with second preference votes.
NDA Parties and leaders openly announced their support to sitting MLC Raghu Varma and worked for his victory. With this defeat it’s more or less evident that employees are angry and dissatisfied on the government. Teachers felt that they were cheated by govt regarding DA, IR & PRC as they have totally forgot about the election promises.
However alliance parties are in a shock as they couldn’t understand what brew anger among employees on government within nine months of attaining power.
Surprisingly NDA Parties tried to claim Gade as their candidate but he debunked their false claim by issuing a statement that he was an independent candidate and won the election with the support of teachers and not any political parties.
