Krishna District NIA Crackdown: 15 Held

In the wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its nationwide crackdowns to prevent any further threats to national security. As part of this high-alert operation, the NIA, along with intelligence agencies and local police, conducted a late-night raid in the Tadigadapa area of Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

According to reliable sources, the raid, which took place in the early hours, resulted in the detention of 15 individuals who were found residing without any valid identification documents. Upon preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that these individuals are nationals of Bangladesh and Myanmar, raising serious questions about border infiltration and internal security vulnerabilities.

The authorities shifted six of the detainees to the Task Force Office for in-depth questioning. Senior officials are currently interrogating the suspects to uncover their backgrounds, motives, and any potential links to larger networks.

This operation is a continuation of the NIA’s heightened vigilance following the arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, which brought several suspects under the agency’s scanner. Earlier, the arrest of Siraj in Vizianagaram district had already triggered concerns regarding the presence of illegal foreign nationals in Andhra Pradesh.

Sources suggest that these raids were conducted based on credible intelligence inputs and are part of a larger strategy to trace individuals living illegally in the country, especially those with no legal documents or identifiable background.
