The tragic incident took place at Gharbanga Waterfalls in Assam, where Rohit had gone on an outing with a group of friends.
According to reports, Rohit accidentally fell into the water around 2 PM and drowned. Police were informed shortly after the incident and reached the spot, recovering his body by 6 PM. While initial investigation suggested no signs of foul play, Rohit’sfamily filed a complaint, suspecting that his death might not have been accidental.
