The coalition government in Andhra Pradesh is orchestrating a series of politically motivated conspiracies under the guise of a “Red Book” constitution, targeting opposition YSRCP leaders and activists. Allegations include fabricating cases, misusing legal provisions, and coercing officials to suppress dissent. Notable incidents involve the illegal arrest of former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy on false mining charges and framing former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother in a TDP-linked double murder case in Palnadu, highlighting a pattern of vendetta-driven governance.
Illegal Arrest of Former Minister Kakani
The coalition government allegedly orchestrated the unlawful arrest of former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy in Kerala on charges of illegal mining. False sections were imposed in a fabricated case, targeting him with baseless accusations.
False Case Against Pinnelli Brothers
In Palnadu, two TDP leaders were killed in an intra-party rivalry. Despite no involvement, YSRCP’s former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother were falsely implicated in the case.
Coalition’s Agenda of Political Vendetta
The government is accused of using “Red Book” tactics, targeting YSRCP leaders and activists with arrests, harassment, and false cases to suppress opposition. Daily plans allegedly involve framing opponents, fabricating evidence, and misusing legal sections to deny bail.
Fabricated Quartz Mining Case
Police filed a case against Kakani, alleging he looted quartz worth Rs. 7 crore from Rustum Mines in Podalakuru. The remand report inflated the value of quartz to Rs. 12 lakh per metric ton, despite the market rate being Rs. 20,000 per ton. Earlier, mining officials confirmed no illegal activity occurred at the site.
Targeting Kakani for Questioning Failures
Kakani’s criticism of the coalition’s failures and TDP leader Chandrababu’s policies reportedly led to his targeting. Local TDP MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and others allegedly pushed for his arrest.
False Complaint by Suborned Official
A mining official, Balaji Naik, who previously reported no illegal mining, was coerced into filing a false complaint in February, leading to Kakani’s inclusion as A4 in the case. Non-bailable sections, including SC/ST Atrocity Act clauses, were added to ensure his detention.
TDP Leaders’ Murders Pinned on Pinnelli
In Gundlapadu, Palnadu, TDP leaders Javishatti Venkateswarlu and Koteswara Rao were killed in a factional dispute. Despite evidence pointing to TDP’s Tota Venkataramiah, the coalition allegedly pressured police to frame Pinnelli brothers.
Intra-TDP Rivalry Behind Murders
The murders stemmed from a power struggle between TDP factions led by Venkateswarlu and Venkataramiah. After an assault by Venkateswarlu’s group, Venkataramiah’s faction allegedly killed the brothers using a car linked to TDP MLA Julakanti Brahmareddy.
Police Confirm TDP Involvement, Later Retract
Palnadu SP K. Srinivasarao initially confirmed the murders involved TDP members. However, under pressure from MLA Julakanti, police reversed their stance, falsely implicating the Pinnelli brothers in the FIR, undermining the investigation.
