Kharge Urges PM Modi to Hold Special Parliament Session on Pahalgam Terror Attack AICC President MallikarjunKharge has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the government to convene a special session of Parliament to discuss the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of innocent tourists. In his letter, Kharge emphasized the urgency of addressing the national concern and finding a unified, long-term solution to such acts of terrorism. Kharge highlighted that Members of Parliament have a responsibility to respond to the growing public outrage and anxiety following the attack. He stated that the Parliament must serve as the platform to deliberate on national security issues and show solidarity in times of crisis. The Congress leader also took part in the all-party meeting convened by Union Minister Rajnath Singh in the aftermath of the attack. During the meeting, Kharge assured full support to the government in its efforts to combat terrorism. He reiterated the importance of unity and collective action, urging all political parties to set aside differences and come together during this challenging period. Kharge expressed hope that the Prime Minister would take immediate steps to convene the special session, underscoring the need for a strong, united front in the face of terrorism.
