Parents of children under six can now breathe a sigh of relief as special Aadhaarenrollment camps are being held in Andhra Pradesh from May 5–8 and May 12–15 at Village and Ward Secretariats
To enroll, parents simply need to visit their nearest secretariat with their child’s birth certificate. Around 1.07 lakh children with birth certificates are still awaiting Aadhaar registration, and this drive aims to close that gap.If your child already has Aadhaar, you’re encouraged to inform the secretariat staff to keep records accurate.
Officials asked to use this opportunity to get your child enrolled easily and quickly. Without these special camps, Aadhaarenrollment for kids can be quite difficult, as parents often face issues like traveling long distances to enrollmentcenters, limited appointment slots, lack of child-friendly infrastructure, and delays due to missing documents or biometric exceptions for young children.
